These vignettes are fascinating. Technically they are very well done – the lighting especially. Watching these models as they pose, then relax and be themselves, is – well – it’s like reading a Ray Bradbury story. Time travel – people who are now dead, captured using a technology that is essentially dead.
Do yourself the favor of muting the sound while watching; the music is overkill.
me thinks the music scrubs the preening well. in 2011 am just starting to surf the web (i used to just read playboy), and i notice a distinct psychological poise that underpins the pleasure expressed by these women’s images as well as some of the images i recently surveyed of happy women being exposed in really realistic color on . the motivations of the men behind this archaic camera seem motivated by a familiar degrading capitalistic exploitativness, which ends up destroying everything it utilizes to promote it’s own growth. and that includes masculine entrapment of those religious and socialistic counteractions which blessedly bloom to mitigate the devastation that sanctioned greed creates. more evidence that humanity is having a hard time putting the on the breaks.
Humanity having a hard time restraining exploitative greed is an old story that refreshes itself with every generation.
